Programs

The best Martial Artist is well rounded.  Defense against holds, grabs, weapons, punches, kicks, standing or on the ground.  We offer a variety of classes to cover all aspects.  You can train for fitness, self-defense or competition.  Our top level coaches and trainers have YEARS of experience to guide you to your goal.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art, combat sport, and a self defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting.  It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique—most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training can be used for sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self defense.

Bang Muay Thai Kick-Boxing

Striking refers to a group of martial arts and stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching.  Striking is often practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.  Historically, striking can be considered a hybrid martial art formed from the combination of elements of various traditional styles.  Striking has contributed to the emergence of mixed martial arts via further hybridization with ground fighting techniques from jiu-jitsu and wrestling.

We are now affiliated with Bang Muay Thai Kick-Boxing under 4x UFC/MMA Coach Of The Year, Duane Ludwig.  Neo foot work mixed with Dutch Muay Thai has created the most modern, effective and innovative striking style in the world.

MMA

Mixed Martial Arts refers to martial arts or fighting systems that incorporate techniques and theories from several particular martial arts (Brazilian Jiu-JItsu, Wrestling, Kick-Boxing.)

These classes are for those wanting to compete in Full Contact kick-boxing, grappling, or MMA matches.

Youth Classes

Youth MMA classes are designed to teach children all aspects of self-defense.  The classes place a focus on BJJ, Wrestling and Kickboxing.  Students are required to have a Gi and are promoted in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  Our promotions for kids are MUCH MUCH slower than most martial arts schools.  We place a high standards on performance and knowledge.  Classes are mixed between technical drills, conditioning, self-defense technique and sparring at different levels as the youth is ready.  Classes are fun and challenging at the same time  as  students learn to overcome adversity.    The classes are physically and mentally challenging for the students as is life.  Get your child away from the XBOX and involved with a Martial Arts that will prepare them for life.

Women's Self-Defense

Women’s Self Defense takes place weekly on Thursday nights.  Combines Striking skills, grappling techniques and more for the most practical self-defense for Women.  We work many techniques not legal in sport competition.  We also focus on escapes from sexual assault positions specific to women.

Judo and Wrestling

Judo is a modern martial art, combat and Olympic sport created in Japan in 1882 by Jigoro Kano. Its most prominent feature is its competitive element, where the object is to either throw or takedown an opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue an opponent with a grappling maneuver, or force an opponent to submit by joint locking or by executing a strangle hold or choke.  The worldwide spread of judo has led to the development of a number of offshoots such as Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Judo practitioners are called judoka.
